My beautiful wife Lizzie has passed away.
It's almost impossible to believe that I am typing those words. She was my devoted partner for over forty years and I will love her the rest of my life. She died of complications from pneumonia, a pernicious condition she had been battling for all of this year and more. In the end there were no more treatments to explore and her body and her generous heart just gave out, and she passed in her sleep with her two lovely daughters and myself at her side. My family, who have long accepted her as one of their own were there too, as we said goodbye to the strongest and finest woman I will ever know.
I love her and I miss her, and I always will.
